This month, we’ve been invited to speak at IBM’s global technology mega-conference Think 2018 in Las Vegas.
It’s an incredible privilege for me to speak alongside thought leaders from around the world. Heavy hitters such as AT&T, Adidas, Panasonic, Volkswagen, and General Motors are all set to attend over the massive 3-day event. We will represent the country alongside ANZ, Telstra and Westpac.
I have been asked to deliver a session on how Gavl is shaking up the real estate industry by bringing auctions into the digital world, and will share details on the technology we are using to digitalise what has traditionally been a bricks and mortar industry.
The truth is, the Australian real estate market needs digital solutions that will actually be used by agents and that bring value to vendors and buyers. With Gavl, we’ve enabled agents to instantly broaden their auction audience and for buyers to view and place bids from anywhere in the world – something that most wouldn’t have even dreamed was possible ten years ago. It’s this win-win solution for all parties involved in a property transaction that has allowed us to grow exponentially.

By digitising the auction process, we’re able to provide our customers with incredible insights to aid in their sale and purchase decision-making, the likes of which have not been seen in the industry before.
