Gavl Bidders in 2018

In 2018 Gavl launched live bidding functionality on our streamed auctions. For the first time in the Australian Real Estate industry, you could watch, bid and buy at auction, all from the palm of your hand via the Gavl app.

With uptake from real estate agents and bidders alike, in 2018 Gavl recorded over 55,000 bids on on auctions on the platform, with the total sales value of the properties sold exceeding $3.4 Billion.

We also had over 500 applications to bid via, which saw bids taken from all over the world via Gavl. With app downloads from 52 countries, we saw bidding from Australia, New Zealand, Dubai, Singapore, Hawaii, London, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Whether you’re on a boat off Melbourne’s peninsula, sitting by the pool on holiday, at your grandmother’s 90th birthday, or just sitting on your couch, Gavl lets you Watch + Bid + Buy from wherever you are.
