Over the past month Gavl has been hard at work expanding our services into Queensland!

So far the Gavl broadcasted auctions in Queensland have generated thousands of viewers and increased auction attendees (both digital and onsite viewers) by over 75%. We’ve also seen multiple buyers using Gavl to bid – including a Gavl buyer for a Stafford property, and a bidder from Dubai.
During the past two weeks in particular, buyers have flocked to Gavl: there have been two Gavl bidders win during the auction and a Gavl underbidder from Dubai almost clinching a Norman Park property.

In Brisbane’s inner-ring, Stafford is growing fast. Hosted by Ray White’s Mitch Peereboom this Gabon Street auction started off strongly with an opening bid of $460,000. With some fierce bidding in-person and online both bidders pushed until the final bid was won through the Gavl app at $554,000.
Under 10kms to Brisbane’s CBD and featuring an outdoor pool area alongside a modern kitchen and two-car garage, our Gavl bidder was very happy when the hammer fell on his bid.
5 Tennyson Street, Norman Park QLD
Quick history lesson: Gavl was built for busy people all over the world who can’t make auctions physically and/or want to remain anonymous.
The bidder for 5 Tennyson Street was such a person. Not being able to make the auction himself, Tom decided to bid via Gavl all the way from Dubai! Whilst Tom was the highest bidder at the auction of this stunning 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom double lot property, the highest bid was still below the vendor’s reserve, giving our bidder first right of negotiation to purchase the home.
