With the Federal Government banning people from physically attending auctions and open home inspections across Australia, Gavl has been working around the clock to keep up with the enquiries and requests coming in from our clients. To that end, we’re offering the following solutions to help you transition your customer interactions to digital and non-contact.
Digital Auctions
- You can still continue to use Gavl to conduct digital only auctions for your clients
- However, our auctions are moving to self-streamed events. In the interests of the safety of our staff and yours, we will no longer be providing Videographer services – however, we will provide training and support so you can film an auction yourself (it really couldn’t be simpler)
- Digital Bidding is also available for bidders you approve
Private Treaty Digital Offers
- All listings (including EOI and Private Treaty) on Gavl will be able to receive offers in writing from potential buyers. This is a good first step in starting formal sale procedures

- From Monday March 30, Gavl will give you the ability to conduct livestreamed open home inspections and invite your database to watch
- Receive questions in real-time from viewers watching live (someone want to see inside the laundry cupboard? You can demonstrate.)
- Full visibility and contact details of all users watching
Digitally Sign Contracts
- Should you progress a sale, then Gavl can help you facilitate the distribution and signature of sale contracts completely digitally. We partner with DocuSign to deliver this functionality

In particular, and after countless requests, we have been working around the clock to facilitate Livestream Open Home Inspections. This can be conducted by the agent or even the vendor. Agents can receive questions in real-time from viewers watching live and will have full visibility on who has attended digitally to conduct follow up calls and arrange private inspections. Livestreamed inspections will be available from Monday.
